There are very sad occasions where poor innocent animals are tortured and treated poorly and the abusers get away free.
There needs to be tougher laws set up for people who harm animals. One example of this is:
Henry, a Chihuahua mix, who was blinded with a leaf blower and on another occasion placed in a heated over for five minutes. The abuser, Marc Vincent, was convicted of a Class A, misdemeanor but sentenced to six months in jail and fined $500. He was then released from jail about two months early and ordered to get counseling.
This example of animal abuse is disgusting, the poor innocent animal did not deserve to be put in a heated oven or be permanently blind because of a leaf blower.
Their needs to be harsher punishments made for animal abuse or it will continue to occur because no tough punishments are in place.
Do you think Mr. Vincent’s sentence was good enough for what he had done to the poor dog?
Mr. Vincent also got out of jail two months early; do you think this is fair?

Hell yes there needs to be new laws! thats sick that someone blinded that chihuahua and then put him in the oven for 5minutes. why the hell would someone do that. it makes me so mad! i seriously think that a human who is able to do something like that to a defenseless animal must have some kind of mental problem. Its sick! No wonder people get attacked by animals, when they get so provoked!
Yea it is no wonder that animals are so afraid of humans and want to attack them. With what humans do they have every right to be scared and want to attack because it is their only way of protecting themselves!!!

First of all, I agree with what you've posted up, about having new animal laws especially in the state of Utah. New laws should be created for animal abusers in this particular state. As you mentioned as an example Henry the chihuahua a dog, who has experienced animal cruelty by its owner, who stuck him in an oven for 5 minutes which is so not right, and cruel.
Overall Animal cruelty is unnecessary everywhere around the world and new laws should be made to secure the safety and lives of animals.

No way, he Deserved something way more harsher, maybe he needs to be put in an oven for 5 mins to see what it felt like haha

Animals deserve tougher laws because people are taking advantage and hurtin them! so with new harsher laws, animal cruelty may decrease.
Thanks Poeelama, I'ma glad some one agrees with me, I really feel for these poor animals that are being abused and tortured on a daily basis. These animals are innocent creatures that are here to love us and give us compainionship but instead humans are to selfish and only care about themselves. These animals don't deserve the things that occur to them at all!!!
I agree with you Maryam, Mr. Vincent's sentence was just a joke, nevermind the poor animal he tortured and is still suffering but well let him of two months early from his punshiment. That is just showing the guy that he can do the crime again and the punhsiments are nothing!!
The laws are just pathetic and they wonder why animal abuse cases are on the rise!!!
